| Finsbury Avenue Square @www.ravishlondon.com The illuminating criss-cross lights of Finsbury Avenue Square make this a delightful place to walk through on one’s way back home after a hard day’s work in the city. Every night there's a different colour scheme. My eyes are always so tired from looking at the computer screen. I love letting them relax and loose themselves in the lights. One night I saw a family camped in the square, the young children running around chasing the lights. Naturally this was to the delight of the parents. I think we all would have liked to have done what those kids were doing. According to a site promoting the light set-up, the square was once, ‘an unprepossessing space at night, which users skulked through on their way to nearby Liverpool Street station’. I can imagine that. |
